Warranty Policy

Thank you for your interest in the products and services of AshvaVolt. This Limited Warranty applies to physical goods, and only for physical goods of AshvaVolt. This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, AshvaVolt will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of technical issue, under normal use and maintenance. AshvaVolt will either repair the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts or exchange the product with a new or refurbished product. If the product is out of stock at the time of replacement, then it will be done when the product is back in stock. The customer has to pays for one side shipping charges and once the product is repaired or replaced the other side shipping charges will be covered by a Vendor/AshvaVolt. The warranty period for physical goods purchased from AshvaVolt is from the date of purchase.

What is covered?
AshvaVolt Product Warranty Policy
AshvaVolt product warranty covers manufacturing defects or technical issues in the products for the duration of the warranty period. Cells are covered under the warranty.
⚡ Important Note: If the mileage (range) of the battery is reduced, it is not covered under warranty. Warranty does not apply to mileage or performance variations over time.
Warranty Terms & Conditions:
After repairs/replacement, the warranty will remain valid only for the unexpired period of the original warranty.
If the BMS (Battery Management System) is found short or damaged, it will be chargeable to the customer.
AshvaVolt will retain any replaced part(s) or component(s) during service.
No extension of the warranty period will be granted under any circumstances.
If the product is found defective after inspection by the AshvaVolt service center, a new/repaired product or equivalent replacement will be issued against the faulty product.
Freight and handling costs from one side (service center to customer) must be paid by the customer.
What is not covered?
- The product is altered or has any labels damaged or tampered or missing.
- The problem that is caused by physical damage or backup in the laptop battery not resulting from a technical issue.
- Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, operation , BMS damage or Short Circuited failure to follow instructions contained in your manual.
- Repair or attempted repair by anyone other than AshvaVolt authorized service center.
- Freight and handling costs from one side & Reverse Side by Customer.
- Transportation/courier related damages arising not because of AshvaVolt, when the product is sent to the service center, we would treat it “out of warranty”.
- Physically damaged, burnt, connectors damaged or cables damaged etc.
- The product is a not genuine AshvaVolt product that has supporting invoice/bill.
- Defects due to cause beyond control like lightning, abnormal voltage, acts of God or while in transit to the service center or customer.
- Any issues related to any 3rd party products/services.
- Evidence of alteration, erasing or forgery of proof of purchase documents.
- Accessories given by the products like screw and power cords.
The warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser of the product that means it is not transferable. The product can be returned in a package that provides an equal degree of protection to the product. If a product is lost or damaged while in transit to AshvaVolt, to be returned under warranty, then the customer shall assume all risk of loss or damage while in transit. BMS is chargable if BMS is shortcircuited. The service center will retain any replaced part/s or component/Under all circumstances, the decision of whether the product is valid for warranty or not rests solely with AshvaVolt.

Notes on Shipping your product for service When shipping AshvaVolt products, great care should be taken to ensure they are packed carefully in an appropriate container to avoid damage during transport. (AshvaVolt is not liable for damage or loss by carriers) We recommend that the following information be included with repairs
- Your name and address
- Original purchase receipt or proof-of-purchase
- A description of the fault or reason for the claim
- A daytime contact telephone number

Warranty Coverage
AshvaVolt® batteries come with a 3-Year Limited Warranty, divided into two phases:
Year 1 & Year 2 – Replacement / Repair Warranty
During the first two years from the date of purchase, any manufacturing defect covered under warranty will be repaired or replaced at AshvaVolt’s discretion.
Year 3 – Service Warranty
During the third year, AshvaVolt® provides free servicing of the battery. However, if any components, cells, BMS, connectors, or other parts require replacement, the cost of replacement parts shall be borne by the customer.
Warranty Claim Requirements
To process any warranty claim, the following documents are mandatory:
Original Purchase Invoice
Original Warranty Card
Product Serial Number Label
Warranty claims submitted without these documents may be rejected.
If you do not receive an invoice or warranty card at the time of purchase, please notify AshvaVolt® within 24 hours of delivery.
Shipping & Transportation
For warranty claims:
Customers are responsible for shipping the product to the AshvaVolt® service center.
The customer must ensure proper packaging during transportation.
Return shipping charges after repair or service may be applicable and shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise specified.
Battery Capacity Retention Policy
Lithium batteries naturally lose capacity over time due to usage, charging cycles, operating conditions, and environmental factors.
The battery shall be considered within acceptable operating limits if capacity remains above the following levels:

Example:
A 30Ah battery may reduce to approximately 25.5Ah after one year of normal usage. Such capacity reduction is considered normal and is not covered under warranty unless capacity falls below the specified retention level.
Warranty Does Not Cover
Warranty shall become void under any of the following conditions:
Physical Damage
Cracked enclosure
Broken terminals
Impact damage
Accident-related damage
Water or Moisture Damage
Water ingress
Flood damage
Corrosion due to moisture exposure
Unauthorized Modifications
Opening or tampering with the battery pack
Alteration of wiring or connectors
Removal or damage of serial number labels
Improper Usage
Wrong polarity connection
Incorrect installation
Overloading beyond rated specifications
Use of non-recommended charging systems
Charger-Related Damage
Warranty will be void if damage occurs due to:
Use of lead-acid battery chargers
Use of incorrect charger voltage
Use of uncertified or incompatible chargers
Improper charging practices
AshvaVolt® strongly recommends using genuine AshvaVolt® lithium battery chargers or certified lithium-compatible chargers.
Electrical Faults
Damage caused by:
Open electrical joints
Loose connections
Reverse polarity
Short circuits
Incorrect wiring
is not covered under warranty.
Service Warranty Conditions (3rd Year)
Under the Service Warranty period:
Diagnosis and servicing are provided free of charge.
Replacement parts are chargeable.
Transportation costs are borne by the customer.
Service time may vary depending on product condition and spare part availability.
Repair Turnaround Time
Warranty repairs generally require:
1 to 4 weeks
Repair duration may vary depending on:
Nature of the fault
Availability of spare parts
Product inspection results
Service center workload
Important Notes
The serial number label attached to the battery must remain intact and readable.
Warranty coverage is limited to manufacturing defects only.
Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
AshvaVolt® reserves the right to inspect, repair, replace, or reject any warranty claim based on technical evaluation.
